April 1, 2013 marks end of HST in British Columbia and return of the previous two taxes system. Transportation is excluded form PST (provincial tax 7%) so we are adjusting all prices and quotes accordingly. 7 dollars per hundred adds up quickly and for our longer tours it means free ticket for one person.
For groups 6 – 11 we have prepared all day shopping trip to Tulalip factory outlets with option to extend the stay to evening for some fun at the Tulalip casino. Our flat rate for the whole group in Mercedes van is $600.00 + tax. Fully loaded it works out to less than $60.00 per person US. Any extension over 9 hours is billed at regular rate $90/hour.
As with the other trips minibus will leave 9:00 am from Richmond Bridgeport station and returns there 18:00 pm .Other pick-up or drop-off location could be negotiated. Traveling time is about 1,3 hour and estimated processing time at the border about 20-40 min. Trip is restricted to holders of valid Canadian or US passports only to avoid unnecessary delays at the border. Please call for any additional information.
We continue to offer this 2012 winter ski season transportation service from YVR – Vancouver Airport and Greater Vancouver to Sun Peaks Ski resort located just about 420 km (260 mi) from YVR, just northeast from Kamloops; (http://www.sunpeaksresort.com/) .
For the convenience of real ski fans direct service from Sun Peaks to Whistler or vice versa. This is very convenient trip as it takes only about 4.5- 5.5 hours door to door. Time not wasted on airports/security, subject to reasonable weather conditions and passable roads.
Sun Peaks slopes are known as place with amazing powder and many quality runs. Several international Olympic ski teams did last fine tuning there before main event. Trip from Vancouver in the Winter excluding stops is about 5-6 hours.
There are many reasons when direct ground connection from Vancouver to Sun Peaks is better option, especially for the group of five or more. Our price is unchanged from last year; one way is $900 plus HST and (optional) gratuity, per vehicle. We believe this is the best price – value for transportation to Sun Peaks. Sun Peaks to Whistler is $1000 again one way.
It could be just price – air ticket to Kamloops is about $140 and transportation from Kamloops airport to Sun Peaks in shuttle about $40 both plus applicable taxes. There are many occasions when in the winter Kamloops airport is closed or restricted with flights delayed or canceled for bad weather and no one want to miss international flight or a day of precious vacations. We had saved few vacationers from Australia and England last year when bad weather closed Kamloops, and 4×4 luxury SUV was way to go. This is the time when travel insurance comes handy!
Pleasant and memorable experience of our clients has always highest priority in our endeavors. So we decided to upgrade our minibus with new carpeting and multimedia entertainment hardware. New 25″ overhead TV monitor serves for illustrative presentations complementing sightseeing experience and for “in-flight” movies for longer trips.
To keep up with the modern computing age we have added mobile hotspot feature to our services. There is no charge for this and it is available in most urban areas , Sea to Sky corridor and Victoria. Our valued corporate clients can check-send their e-mails, browse internet etc. on the way to the meeting or the airport.
